In independent testing, ice water stays below 4°C for 36 hours at an ambient temperature of 22°C. Real-world results vary with fill level, cap closure, and ambient conditions, but the vacuum insulation is the same architecture used in cryogenic vessels.
Yes. The 18/8 stainless body and electropolished interior are dishwasher safe on the top rack. We recommend air-drying with the cap off to keep the seal in best condition.
Yes. At 74 mm diameter, North Bottle fits standard car cup holders, most bike cages, and the side pockets of common daypacks.
Every North Bottle is covered by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear, dents from drops, and cosmetic scratches are not covered but do not affect performance.
You can, but you do not need to. The vacuum insulation keeps cold in so effectively that pre-chilling the bottle with cold water for 60 seconds is enough. Freezing can stress the weld over years of repeated cycles.
